A PORTRAIT of Shap sheepdog handler Katy Cropper is among pictures of 100 pioneering women on show at London's Royal College of Art until August 22.
The exhibition features such famous personalities as 70s rock star Suzi Quatro, poker player Victoria Coren-Mitchell, news reader Angela Rippon, First Minister of Scotland Nicola Sturgeon and Olympic gold medallist boxer Nicola Adams.
Katy Cropper was the first woman to win One Man and His Dog. She has been training dogs for more than 28 years, and her clients have included the royal family of Dubai.
The decade-long project by reportage and portrait photographer Anita Corbin was designed to mark the centenary of the Representation of the People Act, when women first gained the vote.
Each portrait in the First Women UK show is a metre high and presented without glass or mounts, with Anita explaining: "I wanted the viewer to have a real visceral connection with the First Women."
The show, First Women UK, can be seen until August 22.
