I WOULD like to congratulate the Bluebird Project volunteers for their dedication, hard work and determination in rebuilding Bluebird K7 back to its original condition of 1967.
I remember seeing Bluebird break a speed record on Ullswater in July1955 when I was ten years old. I thought at the time that it was the most marvellous machine that I had ever seen and I still think that to this day.
To see Bluebird back on the water on the Isle of Bute brought a tear to my eye.
Thank you to all concerned for making one man very happy.
