THOUGH Cllr Graham Vincent is an attentive councillor, I disagree with his take on Brexit (Letters, August 30, 'There is no Brexit plan').
Unemployment in the UK is the lowest in 40years, our exports are booming and the Chancellor of the Exchequer is facing a financial surplus, an almost forgotten feature of British Government.
Of course nothing is perfect and Cllr Vincent is correct in pointing out our low exchange rate. However that may be a hindrance to those seeking a holiday in the sun but is very welcome to those seeking to sell abroad.
I except our food bills will become marginally more expensive but the overall position for the UK is positive.
