UPDATED theatrical re-imagining of Karel Čapek’s satirical sci-fi classic, War with the Newts, sees us transported to a post-Brexit Britain of the possible future. Global risk and technological revolution come together as a new species makes contact from the bowels of an oyster-dredging vessel. Knaïve Theatre use live sounds from award-winning contemporary classical composer Robert Bentall and, together with a surreal stage design, audiences are transported to the hull of a fishing vessel and invited to witness the rise and fall of a new economic revolution. LAKE District National Park Authority guided walk from Grasmere, which features stunning views from Silver How, before returning by the gorgeous Easedale Tarn. This walk is 6.9 miles long (11.2km) and is a World Heritage themed activity, which includes a Wainwright summit.
