WHEN will something be done about the atrocious right hand turn onto the A591 from the western exit of Staveley?
A few months after the bypass was built in 1989 I remember somebody writing to The Westmorland Gazette complaining of the problem of exiting from Staveley on to the main road. Nearly 30 years later things have not improved.
A few months ago a friend took 12 minutes to turn right, and last week a delivery van coming to our property took 20 minutes. Is this acceptable ? Are these accidents waiting to happen?
