Following our Past in Pictures supplement back on March, we have been contacted by Tracy Langley (nee Youdell), who lives in Wales.

Tracy said that she was sent a clipping from the supplement from her uncle Pete Bland.

"One of the photographs on page 54 shows three workmen repairing the Baddeley clock.

"The left hand one is my dad, Jack Youdell, a Windermere boat-builder, joiner and builder.

"The middle one is Brian Johnson. Neither my mum nor I can identify the one on the right.

"We moved from the Lake District to Chester around 1976 when my mum’s school closed down (she was headmistress at Bowness infant school).

"We later moved to North Wales. My dad died in 1997.

"It was lovely to see this photograph – I have some old pictures of my dad, but haven’t seen this one."

This week we also publish another old photograph from our archives. This is a picture taken at speech day at Queen Elizabeth School, at Kirkby Lonsdale, in 1968.

Does anyone recognise themselves or any of the other people on the photograph? What memories have you got of your time at the school in the 1960s or any other period?

l If you have any old pictures you would like to share with readers, please send them to andrew.thomas@kendal.newsquest.co.uk with details about who you are, what the photograph shows and any information you would like readers to provide about the photograph or those featured in it.
