A RE-CREATION of a walk up Skiddaw undertaken by friends of Dorothy Wordsworth 200 years ago will take place from the Latrigg coach park on Saturday September 29, starting at 10.30am. It will be led by Paul Davies (pictured left), of Grasmere Players, with Tim Langridge, Engagement Officer with the Wordsworth Trust. People are invited to join in prefereably in costume with ale and vittles. Dorothy Wordsworth climbed England's tallest peak, Scafell Pike, with her friend Mary Barker on October 7 1818.
