Grand opening of Staveley C Of E Primary School outdoor equipment
STAVELEY School pupils will now be able to enjoy their new outdoor gym equipment after its grand unveiling.
Friends of Staveley School (FOSS) have raised £5,000 for the equipment over the last couple of years through a variety of events organised by the group.
MP Tim Farron joined the pupils to open the outdoor gym.
Teacher Lisa Strange said: "It has been a real team effort to raise the money and couldn’t have been done without the hard work of staff, pupils, families and FOSS. The equipment was installed over the summer holiday and the children have been really enjoying using it."
