I FOUND this photograph in the belongings of my father Joseph Harrison, who was born in Sedbergh in 1917. I have no idea who the couple are.
It is a very early photograph and they look well to-do. My grandfather was John William Harrison, who was killed on the railway in June 1924, having survived the First World War. A report of his death is in The Westmorland Gazette on June 28 1924.
Since the photographer is in Sedbergh (R - or possibly H - Greenbank, of West View) I presume they are related to me. My grandmother was called Pennington before marriage but I believe she was from the North East.
I hope your readers can help. I can be contacted by email at ray.harrison3:btinternet.com
