Reader's letter
ON FRIDAY afternoon, October 5, I was taken ill not far from the Birdcage at Kendal and two people from the nail salon came to help.
They brought out a chair and a glass of water. Then a very nice lady and her daughter kindly brought me home when there were no taxis available.
I would like to thank all these kind people for their care and help.
