November 2018 will mark the 110th anniversary of the launch of Henry Ford's famous Model T and a pristine version of the vehicle will be on display at Lakeland Motor Museum.

The Lakeland Motor Museum, in South Cumbria, will be putting on display a pristine version of Henry Ford's famous Model T to mark its 110th anniversary launch.

According to the museum, which is home of a unique collection of 30,000 exhibits, they say that Ford's Model T, also known as 'Tin Lizzie', was one of the greatest contributions made to the motoring world and is still considered to be the most influential car of the 20th century. Over 16.5 million Model Ts were sold and it was the first car to achieve one million, five million, 10 million and 15 million units sold.

It's also been estimated that by 1914, nine out of ten cars on the road around the world were Fords.

The vehicle that is on display at the museum dates from the 1920s and has been loaned by owner Jeremy Howarth from Blackpool.
