THREE Sedbergh School pupils have been selected for an England Rugby Under-18 training camp at Bristol during the school the half term break.
It is nothing new for Tom Curtis and Will Haydon-Wood, Sedbergh’s captain and vice-captain respectively, who both travelled to South Africa with the full England U18 squad in the summer.
But Harry Hill will be making his first appearance at the England U18 camp after playing for the U16 team two years ago.
Sedbergh director of rugby Simon Mulholland said all three students had started the season strongly and were in great form.
“At Sedbergh we have a long and proud history of producing schoolboy rugby internationals and I am very proud of these young men. They are all gifted players who thoroughly deserve the opportunity to represent their country,” he said.
“A strong work ethic and high skill set are qualities that Sedbergh rugby players are known for and it is great to see them being rewarded with their inclusion in an England camp.”
