STAFF and residents of Sutton Hall and Lodge nursing home in Sutton-in-Craven enjoyed a fundraising 1940s style event.
It was a chance for the Orchard Care Homes home to invite people in for a look round, as well as raise money for Macmillan Cancer Care.
The day was boosted with the loan of Heathcote Antiques classic van, as well as some suitable 1940s props.
Activity co-ordinators, Karen Steele and Nicola Hartley, also dressed up, along with some of the carers.
"It was a fun day, and we also had singer, Natasha Harper, who sang a selection of 1940s songs, and accordionist, Thom Hardaker joined us in the afternoon with some 1940s tunes to sing along to," they said.
