LAKELAND Sinfonia continues its themed concerts this week with music taking the audience to sunny Spain via the Royal Northern Sinfonia. Music programme includes Rodrigo's Guitar Concerto featuring young guitarist Sean Shibe, and Rossini's Overture The Barber of Seville, Boccherini's Quintet in C, La musica notturna delle strade di Madrid as well as L'oracion del torero (Toreador's Prayer) by Turina. Although Mozart did not visit Spain during his extensive travels around Europe, his Symphony No.35 in D, K.385 Haffner more than complements the programme.

The concert takes place on Saturday (November 10, 7.30pm), in the Westmorland Hall, at Kendal Leisure Centre.
