TWO self-build housing plots have been proposed for farmland on Ulverston's outskirts.
Applicant Oliver Prosser is seeking a change of use for the 0.19 hectare grazing plot near Quaker Lodge, Carley Lane, High Carley.
According to planning documents, Mr Prosser, a fire service worker, plans to build a home for himself and his family. The second self-build plot would be sold to finance the family home.
A neighbour has written to support the outline plans for two dormer bungalows, saying they are would "fit in well" with surroundings.
The decision rests with South Lakeland District Council.
