Foul Scrow, Coniston, has sold at auction
SIXTY-six acres of hill grazing land known as Foul Scrow, in Coniston's Coppermines Valley, sold for £84,000 at auction.
Auctioneer Matthew Probert had several keen bidders, said NWA Property, of Crooklands. The final bid represented an average £1,200 per acre.
