A SOUTH Lakeland based business has launched its first ‘designer’ baby carrier range.
Koala Slings, a baby carrier shop and hire service, set up by Kendal Carissa Lough in 2014, launched the KahuBaby brand in the summer.
Following a design collaboration project with renowned print and surface pattern designer JoJo Coco Design, the business has now created its own baby carrier range.
"I've now combined my love for the outdoors, my passion for baby carrying and my background in project management," said Ms Lough. "Much of my life has been spent in the outdoors, either rock climbing, surfing or exploring. When I had my own babies, I knew that I wanted to show them the world outside of the hustle and bustle of modern life.
"I also needed a way to comfort them, keep them close and have my hands-free!"
Jo Cocker, founder and designer of Jojo Coco Design, said: "I am so excited to be working with KahuBaby, a brand that takes the fuss out of carrying a baby and just makes life so much simpler. I love the quality, the clever engineering and as a new mum, I understand how important comfort is for both of you."
The new collection can be found at www.kahubaby.com.
