The North West Ambulance Service have announced their new chief executive, with Daren Mochrie to take over from Derek Cartwright, who has now retired.
Mr Mochrie, who will take up his position in next spring, is currently chief executive of South East Coast Ambulance Service and was previously director of operations for the Scottish Ambulance Service and the lead for ambulance provision in the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
