The biggest Model Railway Exhibition in Cumbria and the Borders returns to the Energus Building, at Lillyhall, Workington, during the weekend of Saturday & Sunday (November 17 & 18). The event will be even bigger and more layouts and traders will be attending than ever before.

Several of the layouts have been featured in national model railway magazines and will incorporate a whole range of technologies from clockwork to the very latest Digital Command Control (DCC) systems, with some layouts incorporating authentic sounds including a thunderstorm!

Visitors will be invited to try their hand on several layouts so if you always wanted to drive a train then start with the Thomas layout, move up to the German one and then to one of the other layouts where the owners are happy to let you have a go. The exhibition is open from 10am-5pm Saturday and 10am-4pm Sunday.

Admission – Adults £5; children free.
