SCHOOL children put their best feet forward as they joined TV presenters on a charity walk through Furness.
Pupils got in step with North West Tonight presenters Roger Johnson, Annabel Tiffin and Dianne Oxberry to show their support for the BBC Children in Need Plod for Pudsey walk.
After a quiet start at Earnse Point on Walney, Pudsey Bear and the presenters set on their 20-mile walk through Barrow, Dalton, Lindal, Swarthmoor and Ulverston, all to raise money for the annual TV appeal.
It was the first leg of a100-mile relay across the region that will conclude on Friday on the Wirral coastline.
On Tuesday presenters Beccy Barr and Richard Askham took over the baton on the leg to Morecambe and visited the primary school at Bolton-le-Sands.
