AN INVESTIGATION is under way after the sudden death of a baby boy in south Cumbria.
Police were called at 4.19am on Thursday by the North West Ambulance Service to Holker following concerns for the baby.
The child was taken to Furness General Hospital in Barrow where he was later pronounced dead.
His death remains unexplained at this time.
The coroner has been informed.
