BROCKHOLE has now become the Lake District National Park Shopping Centre.
Please don’t let them take Kendal museum’s natural history exhibits away - one slip and they’ll all end up with price tags on them, stacked next to the gins and bread boards.
On a recent visit, I noticed all the nature, history and geology information panels and films had been removed or whitewashed over. The only information I could find was a depressing series of ever-increasing price lists.
One bit of good news - if you flee within five minutes of arriving (as I did) you don’t have to pay for your parking!
