KENDAL town centre will be making a feature in the new ITV thriller series Deep Water as film crews set camp in the square.
Over the past two days the market square has briefly been turned into a film set for the new series.
The gripping thriller, which stars multi-award winning actresses Anna Friel, Sinead Keenan and Rosalind Eleazar, is set to be aired early in 2019.
Scenes have been filmed around the Bluebird Cafe on the shores of Coniston Water, as well as at Staveley and Bowness.
The drama series, written by Anna Symon (Indian Summers, The Wilsons) has been adapted from the Windermere series of novels by critically-acclaimed author, Paula Daly.
