Traffic heavy on A591 heading towards Kendal
Traffic is reportedly very heavy with queues on the A591 northbound from A590 (the Brettargh Holt roundabout at Sedgwick) to the A6 at Helsington in the roadworks area.
One eye-witness said it took her about ten minutes to get through the coned-off area just now.
A contraflow is in place.
