South Lakes MP has announced the winner of his annual Christmas card competition
Mr Farron went to Heron Hill Primary School to congratulate the winner Ellie Taylor, aged seven.
The card she has created will be sent to over 40,000 homes across Tim's constituency.
Alice Baddeley, aged six, of Level Valley Primary School in Backbarrow came second in the competition whilst third place went to Megan Harris, aged eight, of St Oswald's Church of England Primary School in Burneside.
Mr Farron said he had a lot of fun choosing the winner but it was not an easy decision.
"The Christmas card competition gets harder and harder to judge each year as the standard of entries just keeps going up, but Ellie’s design really stood out," he said "She did a brilliant job and I am delighted that her work will now be seen and admired by thousands of South Lakes residents.
“I'd like to say a huge thank you to all the pupils who took part and wish all of them a very Merry Christmas!"
