A 44-YEAR-old is receiving ongoing treatment to his eye after an alleged assault in a pub.
Police are investigating after the incident in the Newton Arms, Dalton.
A 44-year-old male from Barrow sustained a serious injury to his eye area which has required ongoing treatment at hospital. A 30-year-old man from Dalton was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and has been released under investigation. It happened between 11pm-11.45pm on November 24.
