EXPANSION plans by steel door manufacturer Strongdor in Carnforth were given the go-ahead by planners.
The company's bid for larger premises at Carnforth Business Park on Kellet Road was approved by Lancaster City Council's planning and highways regulatory committee.
Forty-five new jobs could be created with the construction of the new office, storage and distribution building, according to plans submitted by director Tim Devenish.
Strongdor makes a variety of bespoke steel doors, including explosion-resistant and bullet-resistant doors, and fire doors.
