STUDENTS from Kendal's Dance Atikk School of Dance have been spreading some Christmas cheer at the town's care and residential homes.
More than 250 youngsters have performed 37 dance numbers at six homes and brought smiles to the faces of residents in the space of a week. They performed different dances in many styles from lyrical, modern, street and classical. Every performance ended with a big Christmas group dance.
The youngest dancers were just three and the eldest were 19.
Lucy Everett, principal and owner of The Dance Atikk school of dance said: "I'm very proud of each and every one of my dancers for being caring, kind and sharing their passion for dance.
"This is now our sixth year of performing for the local care and residential homes and we love it."
