A NEW shopfront to replace the 19th century woodwork at a financial firm in Kendal is planned.
John Sherlock, of Sherlock Financial Management, is seeking consent for the changes at 3 Kirkland from South Lakeland District Council.
The timber, dating back to the 1800s, is in "a poor state of repair", state the planning documents.
Two mullions would be added to the frame to divide the one large window into three.
