A FESTIVAL dedicated to "all things baby" is on the way to Kendal next month.

The event is being planned by Piranha's Swim Schools and is designed to "support mothers in any step of their journey" by bringing together experts in different aspects of pregnancy and baby care.

The baby fair is to take place at Stonecross Manor Hotel, Milnthorpe Road, on Sunday, February 3, from 10am to 2.30pm.

Expertise on offer from 12 businesses will include midwifery, hypnobirthing, reflexology, vitamins and minerals, nappies, baby slings, yoga, dance classes, breast feeding, massage, personal training and family photography.

Swimming coach Deven Mcalister, of the South Lakeland and north Lancashire-based swim school, said the baby fair was being held with South Lakeland Mind, the mental health charity. Deven said she hoped the event would "make a difference to the community".
