One lane of A66 closed on both carriageways following traffic incident
One lane of the A66 is closed on both sides of the carriageway for emergecny barrier repairs following a traffic incident involving a lorry this morning.
A lorry was in collision with the central barrier.
The incident happened between the A685 at Brough and the A67 at Bowes near to Vale House Farm.

Traffic is said to be coping well.
The westbound carriageway was closed between 8.45am and 1.40pm while complex recovery took place following a lorry coming to rest on the central reservation.
