THERE will be no T20 town derby in the qualifying stages of the Northern Premier Cricket League's 2019 T20 competition after fierce local rivals Kendal and Netherfield were placed in different groups.
Netherfield will play in Group One with fellow Cumbrian sides Barrow and Penrith.
They will play both these sides at Parkside Road in the opening round of fixtures on Sunday, May 5, then will travel to Barrow on Sunday, May 26 with their final fixture away to Penrith on Sunday, June 16.
Kendal are in group two with Garstang and Fulwood & Broughton and travel to Garstang on May 5 and Fulwood on May 26 before hosting both sides at Shap Road on June 16.
