AVON Wood Holiday Park, Newby Bridge, has been named Cumbria and the Lake District's best-value holiday park by an independent tourism website.
Holiday Park Guru's top 10 for the area also included Lakeland Leisure Park at Flookburgh, and Fallbarrow at Bowness.
Robert Lane, of Holiday Park Guru, said: "The quality of the UK's holiday parks varies greatly, but the Lake District has a really good choice of places to stay and many of them are in prime lakeside locations.
"Most holiday parks have moved on a bit from the days of knobbly-knee competitions and drafty caravans. Nowadays, the good ones offer things like lodges, water parks and glamping at an affordable price."
