PLANS for a new six-bedroom detached house on Windermere's eastern shore have been revised.
Applicant Robin Lawson already has consent to demolish the 1970s property Hollinfield at Newby Bridge Road, Windermere, off the A592 road, and build a new home.
The revised design is inspired by Arts and Crafts architecture and traditional boathouses, according to plans lodged with the Lake District National Park Authority.
It features two storeys plus attics, tall chimneys, aluminium-framed windows and cedar cladding.
