Arrest made in Grasmere gate damage investigation
POLICE have made an arrest as a result of their investigations into the recent spate of damage to gates and signs in the White Moss Common area near Grasmere.
The 45-year-old, who resides in the Ambleside area, was arrested on Tuesday evening, January 15, in the White Moss area between Rydal and Grasmere on suspicion of causing criminal damage.
He has been released under investigation.
