One lane of the M6 is closed both ways due to emergency repairs following a crash yesterday.
Lane three in each lane is closed from J42 A6 (Carlisle South) to J41 B5305 (Catterlen) after a lorry overturned and shed its load of gravel yesterday afternoon at about 1.45pm.
Police said a HGV truck overturned on the southbound carriageway blocking all three lanes.

The force said the driver suffered no injuries.
