POLICE are investigating a house burglary that occurred in Kendal on Tuesday.
Detectives say the intruders forced entry to the back door of the property on River Bank Road.
Potential witnesses, who may have been in the area at the time, are being asked to contact the police if they have seen any suspicious activity.
The break-in took place three days after a house on Valley Drive was broken into. There is no suggestion the burglaries are linked. In that incident the raiders stole a watch, handbag and cash after gaining entry by smashing a window.
Police have urged residents to be extra vigilant; making sure outbuildings, sheds and houses are locked and secure at all times when unoccupied.
Anyone with any information should contact police quoting log 98 of January 22 2019 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
