Windermere
A HOMEOWNER on Windermere has been given permission by South Lakeland District Council's lake administration committee to build a new 22.5msq timber jetty.
The application was made on behalf of Andrew and Joanne Parr, of Winsterlea, Ghyll Head, Bowness. The site is north of Ghyll Head Activity Centre and planning permission has already been granted by the Lake District National Park Authority.
