SCHOOLS and charities are being invited to take part in The Rotary Club of Kendal South Westmorland's Swimathon on Saturday, March 9.
The event has been running for more than 30 years and sees teams of six sponsored swimmers take it in turns to complete a length of the Kendal Leisure Centre pool.
It means each swimmer is required to swim only every sixth length during the allotted 55 minutes.
