Ruth Cooper
RUTH Cooper, from Lowick Young Farmers' Club, emerged as winner of the Year 17 and under competition at the Cumbria Young Farmers’ after dinner speaking competition held at the George Hotel, Penrith.
She gave a presentation of her achievements and what career path she hoped to follow as well as producing a curriculum vitae and personal statement. The public speaking competition was judged by Christine Knipe and David Malloy who placed Raughton Head YFC ahead of the team from Lowick.
