POPULAR Kendal riverside eaterie Cafe Terrazzo is to close at the end of this month.

The restaurant, which is situated on the K Village complex, advised customers of the closure via an email which said the announcement was made "with great sadness."

"We want to thank each and everyone of you for your custom over the last three years," the email added.

Any bookings for parties for the remainder of February will be honoured, but a spokesperson for the restaurant said they had no further comment at this stage.
