A POWER cut struck Kendal this morning, at around 8am.
According to Electricity North West the power cut affected a large part of the town.
Even though most residents and local businesses had their power restored nearly 50 customers were still without any electricity.
Apologies for any confusion. Majority of customers have had their power restored in #Kendal #Cumbria. However, we are aware of 47 customers still affected. Our engineers are working to restore the supply to the remaining customer as soon as possible. - Mike

The company says electricity has now been fully restored across the Kendal area.
