A DRINK driver has been banned from the road for 20 months after admitting the offence when he appeared at South Cumbria Magistrate Court.
Scott O'Reilly, 21, of Dalton Fields Lane, Dalton, had 72mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath when he was stopped in a Ford Fiesta on Abbey Road, Barrow, on August 10 last year.
The limit is 35mcgs.
He was fined £250 and told to pay £115 in costs and a victim surcharge.
He also admitted possession of cocaine and was fined £120 for that offence.
