KENDAL taxi firm K Cars is planning to open a booking office at the former dry cleaners at South Lakeland Retail Park, Kendal.
The premises would be used for telephone bookings and dispatching taxis, as well as a waiting room for customers, according to plans by applicant Wasif Zaman. Two full-time and two part-time employees are proposed for the site at Queen Katherine's Avenue.
South Lakeland District Council is also being asked to approve three lit-up signs at the office, which would be open 6am to midnight, Monday to Sunday.
