A NEW play, Glory, set in the larger than life world of wrestling premieres at Lancaster's Dukes Theatre from tonight (Thursday) to March 2. Set in a decrepit gym in the north of England, this state-of-the-nation play sees faded star Jim 'Glorious' Glory and amateur wrestlers Dan, Ben and Sami confronting their demons, life and each other as their lives collide - inside and outside the ring! ALONG with Mick Wilson, lead singer of 10cc, Gordy Marshall, who played drums for The Moody Blues for more than 25 years, are on tour with their tribute show Go Now! The Music of The Moody Blues. The band present a super-group of world class musicians, singers and songwriters and meticulously recreate the elegance of a Moody Blues Concert. The show includes all the timeless hits such as Nights In White Satin, Go Now, Tuesday Afternoon, Forever Autumn, and a show-stealing rendition of Eve of the War from Jeff Wayne's The War of the Worlds, alongside many others. TRIBUTE band T. Rextasy has been performing around the world for more than 20 years, a career that ironically out lives Marc's very own T. Rex. The band are fully endorsed and approved by Marc Bolan's family and ex-members of T. Rex. Marc was one of the most flamboyant stars of the original glam rock era, with his special ingredient of Rock-a-Boogie songs, and enjoyed a string of huge hits throughout the 70s, including Love to Boogie, Telegram Sam, Jeepster and 20th Century Boy.
