CHANGES are planned at Kendal's 1960s Telephone Exchange on Blackhall Road ahead of high-speed internet expansion locally.
BT wants to replace a window with a steel louvre to let in fresh air for a cooling unit. The building "is of no real architectural value", state plans submitted to South Lakeland District Council.
