FANS of chart-topping girl band Little Mix are in for a treat when a tribute show takes to the Coro stage in April.

Black Magic - The Little Mix Show is described as “the ultimate pop concert experience - in your local theatre” and is based on the four-piece group’s biggest hits.

Promoters of the concert tour which is coming to Ulverston on Thursday, April 11, say the high-energy song and dance routines are suitable for “Mixers” of all ages - children, “tweens” and adults alike.

“We’ve loved creating The Little Mix Show,” said producer Matt Brinkler.

“After our Only One Direction show toured the world between 2012 and 2016, creating a show around Little Mix was the natural progression.

“We love the music and we wanted to bring something to the audience that was more than the tributes or lookalike shows available.

“Families are looking for higher quality productions that are as good as the real thing, but at a family-friendly price. We’re proud to say that is exactly what we have achieved with this show.”

This will be the Black Magic girls’ fourth UK tour, hot on the heels of last year’s sell-out dates at venues across the country.

Some songs in the show have been updated to feature Little Mix’s most recent hits, including No More Sad Songs and Power, as well as the original classics Wings, Black Magic & Shout Out To My Ex, their biggest hit to date.

The official Little Mix ladies - Jesy Nelson, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall - famously won the eighth series of music contest The X Factor in December 2011.

They have gone on to become Britain’s biggest band, with stadium tours, four number one singles and more than 20 Top 40 hits to their name.

The girls have been nominated for Best British Group and Best British Video at the 2019 BRIT Awards with Woman Like Me.

The people’s video vote closes at 5:30pm on Friday, February 15, and you can vote on Twitter by tweeting the hashtag #BRITVIDLITTLEMIX.
