Milnthorpe Square
TRAFFIC problems persist at Milnthorpe Square, particularly on Friday market days, Milnthorpe Parish Council was told at its recent meeting.
A number of motorists continue to drive onto the Square in the village centre unlawfully and park inconsiderately, councillors heard.
The barriers put up on Thursday evenings to keep vehicles out of the Square, so it is free for market stallholders, were also described as “ineffective”.
