POLICE have renewed an appeal for dashcam footage following an investigation into a burglary that occurred at a property in a South Lakes town.

Officers say during the incident, which happened on Willow Drive, the householder returned home to find three men upstairs who had forced entry into his house.

No one was hurt but property was taken.

The incident happened at around around 12:37pm on February 21.

Detective Constable Christopher Appleyard said: “We are continuing our investigations into the incident and detectives are conducting ongoing enquiries.

“One line of enquiry we are looking into is anyone with dashcam who might have been driving along Larch Grove, Kendal on the 21st February between 12:15pm and 12:45pm.”

Anyone with dashcam who might have been driving along Larch Grove on the day is asked to contact the police on 101.
