Traffic queuing to get on to the A6 from the A591
There is heavy traffic congestion this morning on the A6 Milnthorpe Road at Kendal due to gas works and temporary three-way traffic lights near Wattsfield Road.
Northbound vehicles are queing as far back as the A591 turn-off for Kendal.
One eye-witness described the traffic congestion as 'an absolute nightmare'.
